Windows 7: Minimum System Requirements

Windows 7 is the latest version of Windows and its beta version is available for download. Before download and installing Windows 7, its is recommend to check whether your system meets the minimum requirement of Windows 7.

Minimum System Requirements



RAM (Main Memory): 1 GB
Available Disk Space: 16 GB
Processor: 1 GHz (32-bit or 64-bit)
Graphics: DirectX 10 with 128 MB memory
Drive: DVD-RW



Note: Graphic Card is optional. It is necessary only when you want to use the Aero interface.

    Aakash,
    The minimum space required to install Windows 7 is only 16 gb. You are going the other way.
